XIV forum of interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia held in Chelyabinsk

Many guests from the cross-border regions of two countries arrived in the forum.  Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin will take part in it as well.

The Kazakh-Russian forum has been held in Chelyabinsk for the second time. All main meetings are held in the building of the new plant “Russian Electric Motors”. The exhibition “Development of human capital asset” opened there, the participants of which were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic, Nazarbayev University, “Nazarbayev Intellectual School” JSC, IPF “Bilim-Innovation”, “Bilim Media Group” LP, AlFarabi Kazakh National University, L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University and other universities.

“We have showed some presentations. The first – breakthrough project in the field of secondary education – 20 intellectual schools, created at the initiative of the Head of the State. The second project is development of the advanced teaching aids for comprehensive schools of Kazakhstan. At our exhibition you can learn about digitalization of the education system of the republic and project of the development of an education hub in the Central Asia in the field of higher education”, the organizers of the exhibition said.

Some panel sessions, dedicated to the development of human capital asset and activation of cooperation in the field of digital economy for creating a single digital space of the Eurasian Economic Union are held in the forum.

As part of the development of entrepreneurial education, the rector of Pavlodar State University Gaukhar Akhmetova offered her Russian colleagues a new format for cooperation. The head of the university told about the experience of introduction of entrepreneurship education in the university and development of leadership abilities among students.

 “We have already taught about 2000 students and 5-7% of our students and graduate students want to try hand in business. At the moment, 7 investment rounds have already been organized. There students sold 48 projects to the sum of RUB 21 mln (more than KZ 100 mln), 58 workplaces were created and taxes were paid to the sum of RUB 2 mln (more than KZ 10 mln). We invite Russian universities and business community to take part in the creation of international start-up projects in the following directions – service, agriculture, technical entrepreneurship”, she noted.

In the afternoon it is expected that some bilateral agreements will be signed by Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin.
