Information on the labor market situation
As of May 1, 2017, 3039 new jobs were created in the region, including 2080 permanent jobs (68.4%).
Measures to ensure employment of the population are implemented in the framework of the Comprehensive Employment Promotion Plan for the Pavlodar region for 2017, which includes the activities of the Program for Productive Employment and the Development of Mass Entrepreneurship (hereinafter the Program) and other programs.
During the last period of 2017, with the plan 18843, 5 518 people (27.5%) were covered by active measures of employment, including 578 people under the Program (3789 plan).
 8161 persons applied for employment assistance to the authorized agencies for employment of the region, 3510 people were employed.
The level of employment of unemployed to the number of applicants in the region is 43.0%.
In the first direction of the Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship (provision of technical and vocational education and short-term vocational training for the participants of the Program), short-term training is planned for 937 participants in the Program in the professions and skills in demand on the labor market. For these purposes, 156.2 million tenge is provided from the republican budget (general transfers).
The beginning of short-term training is planned from May this year.
On social workplaces under the plan 1438 1,115 unemployed were employed (81.0%), including 551 people under the Program. (The plan for the program is 468 people).
Youth practice under the plan of 538 is organized for 135 graduates of educational institutions (25.1%), including 27 under the program. (The plan for the program is 288).
In public works, under the plan 3159, 1678 unemployed took part (53.1%).
As of May 1, 2017, there are 3953 vacancies in the region.
There are 3496 unemployed registered with the regional employment agencies. The share of registered unemployed in the economically active population is 0.8%.
