Cases of coronavirus infection were not registered in Pavlodar region

Deputy akim of Pavlodar region Askhat Oralov told about the situation in the region after the introduction of the state of emergency in Kazakhstan in the press conference in the regional communications department.

“The emergency response center on the issues of coronavirus infection works under no timeline in the region. Residents and guests of the region can call 8 (7182) 67-52-08, emergency station 103 and 1406.

544 medical workers have been trained in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infection. There are 845 beds in the region in case of coronavirus infection. Arriving citizens from other countries are monitored daily. Today 112 people are under medical observation, among them 12 people – in the hospital, 25 people – under home quarantine restriction and 75 people are called around. Virology testing has been carried out with the contact people, the result was negative for all”, deputy akim of Pavlodar region said.

“The sanitary and disinfection regime was strengthened in the region. The medical organizations have supplied the necessary medicines and personal protective equipment. All medical and medical-social institutions are quarantined.

All 394 pre-school facilities work as usual. In such case children have flexible attendance. If children are at home, parents will not pay for this period. Medical and sanitary control in the kindergartens is strengthened”, Askhat Oralov noted.

“More than 109 th schoolchildren in Pavlodar region are out of school. As for teachers, 11 th teachers work from home.  

More than 31 th students of the universities and colleges have distance learning. Colleges of the region have implemented the information educational systems. Students under the program «Серпін» went home”, deputy head of the region added.

People of Pavlodar region are asked to be receptive to assuming the preventive security measures in the region. Everything is done with the aim of prevention in the region. In addition, the population is urged to follow hygiene and personal protection measures: wash hands more often, ventilate and clean rooms, avoid crowded places.
