The Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, who arrived in Pavlodar region on a working trip, demanded that the construction of the road from the capital to Pavlodar be completed as soon as possible.

The road workers working in the Shchiderty settlement area assured that they would complete all the road works before September 1, leaving the roadside arrangement and installation of signs for later. Roman Sklar also visited the Bozshakol mining and processing plant. This project is a priority within the state program of industrial-innovative development and will help establish a stable export of copper and gold in concentrate. The capacity of the enterprise until 2025 is calculated to be 100 thousand tons of copper in cathode equivalent and up to 120 thousand ounces of gold.

In Ekibastuz, the minister visited the site where the training center for training personnel for the fuel and energy complex is being built. As representatives of the contracting organization noted, today the problem of groundwater, which the basements of the objects being erected had previously heated, has been resolved. Drainage is connected to each of the buildings of the training center. Now builders are waiting for funding to continue construction. If the money will be allocated in the near future, the contractors promise to complete all the works before the end of the year.
Roman Sklyar got acquainted with the work of one of the oldest and largest coal enterprises – Bogatyr Komir LLP. Its two cuts, Bogatyr and Severny, today produce 44% of the total coal production in Kazakhstan. The company operates at full capacity, in 2018 almost 45 million tons of coal were mined here. In addition, it is one of the largest employers in the region – over 6.5 thousand people work here.


The head of the IIID also visited several railway cluster enterprises. This is a new enterprise for the production of railway wheels and factories for the production of components for the railway and trains.
