The problem of shortage of medical face masks is solved in the network of pharmacies in Pavlodar region. Deputy head of the region Saken Shayakhmetov reported at the press conference in the regional communications department that in the near future the region will launch the production of medical face masks to 25000-30000 per day.
Due to the shortage of personal protective equipment, akimat proposed consumer service centres and sewing workshops of Pavlodar region to make face masks.
“Merusar&K” LP provides materials for face masks. But the equipment was broken and the volume of the production was significantly decreased.
As soon as this enterprise will work at full capacity, we intend to produce 40000 medical face masks per day. Thanks to the support of others enterprises we schedule to produce 25000-30000 face masks per day at the least.
We have a preliminary agreement on the maximum price for masks – KZ 60-70 and not more than 5-10 medical face masks for one person”, deputy akim of Pavlodar region Saken Shayakhmetov said.
One of the first, who started to produce face masks, was “Neftekhim LTD”.
“Today we have already received materials and prepare to produce face masks. This work will be done around the clock in four shifts (20 people each). It is planned that each seamstress will sew 800 face masks per shift”, the head of the sewing workshop of the enterprise Zhanar Daniyarova noted.
The problem of antiseptic deficiency is also discussed in the region. Saken Shayakhmetov reminds that “Bo-Na” LP, which produces antiseptics, works in the special economic zone “Pavlodar”. Today, negotiations are conducted with the producer.
