About 400 hectares of sugar beets will be planted on the lands of Pavlodar region next year.
This was during a meeting with representatives of Eurasia Group Kazakhstan LLP, who plan to build a service center for servicing agricultural equipment of John Deere brand in Pavlodar, akim of Pavlodar region said. According to Bulat Bakauov, seeds for planting beets will be taken from the German company KWS. – As always, during an experimental planting, when several of our peasant farms sowed one hectare of beet, small technical errors were made, but today’s results of this work are good, the head of the region noted. – In September, we will understand how much one root crop will weigh, as well as the sugar content of grown beets. Next year we will plant 400 hectares of sugar beets.
Recall that in this way in the Pavlodar region began to prepare a raw material base for the sugar plant, which is scheduled to be launched in the next few years. A feasibility study for the plant’s project was prepared by the Russian company BMA Russland, technical specifications for connecting to utility networks have already been received, and design and estimate documentation is being developed.
