According to the official website of Akorda, the akim of the Pavlodar region reported to Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev about the socio-economic development of the region for 7 months of 2019.
Bulat Bakauov also informed the Head of State about the creation of new jobs during the implementation of investment and industrial projects, as well as the Nurly Ertis program in the Pavlodar region. He informed the President that the region’s economy grew by 3.2% last year. This pace will be maintained this year. At the same time, the socio-political situation in the region is stable and is under control. In addition, he spoke about the implementation of the Nurly Ertis project in the region on the relocation of large families from Nur-Sultan and labor-surplus regions. To date, 103 families have moved to Ekibastuz, bringing up 428 children. All families are provided with housing, heads of families are employed, and those who wish to engage in entrepreneurial activity receive grants and loans. All children are provided with places in kindergartens and schools, are covered by additional education, summer vacations. By the end of the year, another 280 families are planned to move under the Nurly Ertis program.
“We are ready to build,” said Bulat Bakauov. – There are ready-made sites for building houses with engineering mains connected. The budget application for 2020 for the construction of 17 residential buildings is announced at 8.1 billion tenge. Additionally, there are 22 projects for another 15 billion tenge. Akim of Pavlodar region also reported to the President about 20 issues of concern for the region, which were discussed at a meeting in the government.
Basically, they concerned investment projects planned for the near future. The report of the akim also spoke about the provision of villages with drinking water. This year, MSCs are being established at the expense of the local budget in 90 small villages with a population of less than 200 people. The topic of housing construction is also affected. – Under the Nurly Zher program, 12 residential buildings are under construction. The akim also spoke about how the region fulfills its social obligations. By order of the President, 199 apartments were provided to large families, 57 of which were in Aksu. By the end of the year, they plan to buy another 86 apartments in single-industry towns. Targeted social assistance in the new format was paid to 5919 families. For previously assigned benefits, 801 families were recalculated to 1.2 billion tenge. Additionally, TSA needs 1.3 billion tenge. Children from these families are provided with free meals in schools, travel and attendance at kindergartens. At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev gave a number of specific instructions to expand the area of irrigated land and improve the quality of life of the region’s population.
